I have a 128MB PC133 or 100 DIMM in my 2nd pc, and i want to add another 64MB PC66 DIMM into it, will there be any problems, performance problems if I do this?

Depends on the FSB of your CPU... if it's 66mhz then it can run PC66. What's the CPU?

memory in comps has the nasty habit of working on the speed of the slowest stick in the system .. so if you put in the PC66 stick the comp will run the PC100 one at only 66mhz ...

good question... does mixing pc100 and pc133 cause problems?

another question, would I be able to use a 256MB stick on my pc?
My pc manual says my pc can support 384MB (128MB X 3) of Rams but 256 was not out yet. If I add 256 I would have more than 384MB

mixing different sticks might cause problems if they are different brands (different speeds from the same brand have never been causing problems as far as I know) so be carefull with brand mixing .. I have 3 different sticks of three different brands and I can only run one game .. halflife .. all the rest just crashes ... this is solely my memory, if I take out all but one stick these games run (but so poorly you can hardly call it playable ..)

Wrong, just like netdude. It will run at the speed the motherboard wants it too (talking Mhz). But, some of the settings (the other kinds of speeds) may go down to that of the slowest stick if the board is autodetecting. A bad idea on general, although I do it. I'm even running some newer PC66 at PC133 speeds, with auto detect for all the timings and CAS 3.
