Hey Guys,

I currently have a dual channel kit, PC3200 (2X512MB) with the timings (2.3.2.6) and i want to add a next dual channel kit with the following PC 3200 (2X512MB) with the timings of (2.5.3.3.7). My current specs is,

Intel 3.2 E Prescott
ASUS P4C800E-Deluxe
OCZ 2X512MB (2.3.2.6)
2 * 80 GB Sata Raid 0

I was told by the local PC store that mixing Memory with different timings can be fatal but i didn't told them the timings, can you guys shed some light on this ?

Thanks in advance :(

Run all four sticks at the lowest frequency & highest timings & you'll be set. In other words, go in to your bios and stick with pc3200 (400mhz), and 2.5-3-3-7.

You might be able to get more aggressive but I've no experience with your specific situation so I'll leave that to the other members to discuss.

Also consider selling your current memory & simply buying a dual channel 2x1gb kit. IIRC you can't run 4 sticks in dual channel anyway, so you lose that advantage by adding two more sticks to your existing two.
