I'm bored so I'll share (prepare to join me... zzzzz)
So I have a friend I email every now and then, and recently we began a conversation on philosophy. I don't know a lot on the subject, but I have opinions and I am fairly logical. I also like to play devils advocate and point out all the faults or unanswered questions that arise when topics like philosophy, politics, etc are discussed.
So the reply from this girl is:
"*sigh*
If I had known that you simply wanted to argue with
someone I wouldn't have bothered. Yes, I concede that
this person may be absolutely correct. Yes, you're
getting "my opinions," my views.
If you are depressed get help, don't take it out on
me. If you want to feel like you won something,
please I hand you the trophy."
WTF!!!
I hate it when people start getting personal or letting their emotions into what should be a rational conversation.
