Mixing 2.1v with 1.9v?

Hello!

I had a pair of Corsair XMS2 DDR2800 Ram, 4-4-4-12 2.1v

I accidentally ordered

Corsair XMS2 DDR1800 Ram 5-5-5-18 1.9V

How can I run these together? I have not tried just sticking them in yet.

Thanks!!!

try running everything at the slower speed of ddr 1800 5-5-5-18 1.9V and see if it works, you should not try running 1.9v ram at 2.1v, it's a good way to kill it.

Return them with an apology note and ask for a matching pair with what you have.
Else lower the high voltage to match the lower voltage. Adjust the timings to the lowest stick. Pray that it works.
