Im planning on buying another pair of ram in dual channel (same ofcourse) but i have a 512 generic brand in my computer already. If you dont know, the Abit NF7-S rev.2 MoBo has 3 Ram Slots. 2 that you can use in dual channel and 1 single. Should I not use that generic 512 ram and just use the two 512 in dual channel or will it not matter. By the way im gettin value series dual channel memory.

I had that board's little brother, the NF7-S2 (not rev 2.) and it ran in dual channel with 3 sticks. I see no reason why yours wouldn't as well.

because I hear when you mix ram it will run as fast as the slowest ram can go. So if you have 1 crap ram and 2 good ones then it wont run as fast as the slow one.

Yes all memory will run at the speed of the slowest stick. As long as you're not using more than a gig of memory then running just 2x512 would probably be preferable.
