mITX build for regular computing

I haven't built a computer in about 5 years so I was looking for advice on a mITX build. Some video editing but no gaming whatsoever. No overclocking to be done.
Budget about $1000 but wouldn't mind going a bit lower. I'm going to use some parts from my current computer like:
PSU: Seasonic Platinum Series 660W
Video Card: XFX R9 285
CPU Cooler: Noctua NHC14S
New parts:
Case: Fractal Design Define Nano S Window
Memory: Corsair Vengence LPX 32 GB (2x160) DDR4 2400
HD: Crucial MX500 1TB M.2
CPU: i7 8700
MB: MSI MPG Z390I

Or
Ryzen 7 2700
MSI B450I Gaming Plus AC

Would the Intel and AMD perform about the same? Any parts overkill that I could go a little cheaper? Thanks
