I am sure this will seal your opinion to not vote for Romney. Am I right craig234?
Are you really that big of hack? Is there any Republican outrage you won't try to defend or deflect? Even many of the righties here have enough integrity to acknowledge this was wrong, but not you. You just try to deflect attention from it.

Given PokerGuy's posting history, I have no doubt he was completely serious. He's about as diehard right-wing fringe as you'll find here.

Re. the OP, that's pretty shameful. Hyperbole is one thing, even the customary lying through misdirection and selective spin, but this is blatant lying. There are multiple levels of wrong and this is about as bad as it gets. It reeks of desperation. Perhaps he's hoping to finally connect with the blood thirsty, Obama-hating fringe ... which brings me back to PokerGuy.

I avoided the phrase 'as bad as it gets' because of despite being a black and white lie, there are worse.

Such as ones that further bigotry (lies to get people to hate blacks/gays/Muslims/etc.), lies that lead to killing, ones with substantive policy impacts, and so on.

For example, lies that further economic myths can have a far worse impact. Funny enough, this lie has some 'truth' to it in that the economy is a danger for Obama.

He is an excellent candidate for the Troll removal tool.

Pretty distressing that the campaign is getting so hardcore and misrepresenting so early on. What can we expect from Romney by next October? Baby killing videos?

It especially offended me that Obama's voice was dsitorted throughout the Romney ad so as almost be like nails on a blackboard.

That Romney, he's got smear skills!

welcome to politics, movie reviews, and just about anything else.

"so and so voted against little johnnie and susie getting an education!"

no, what they voted against was the horrible bill with a riding adendum at the end dealing with little johnnie and susie's education. of course that last part had nothing to do with the rest of the bill...

No kidding. With all the hatred flowing and with virtually no limit on third-party spending, this is going to one really nasty campaign season. Breitbart will probably produce a video of Obama in a warehouse filled with guns he's confiscated, personally performing a partial-birth abortion standing on a pentagram made of gold stolen from rich people, all while having gay sex with Hugo Chavez.

Fixed.

Not that I necessarily share your sentiment though.

Your example at least still has a nugget of truth to it. So and so did technically vote against little johnnie and susie.

I'm not saying the situation in your example is okay, just that this new ad takes it to a whole new level. If the GOP had even a tiny little shred of dignity, they would be calling Romney out for this.

Hardly, you are getting all up in arms about an obviously sarcastic remark directed at fail234.
Nice backpedaling. My comment wasn't formed in a vacuum, however. It was based on your track record of past posts, culminating in that one. Of course you can quickly set the record straight simply by acknowledging that what Romney did was clearly and unquestionably over the line.

Sure it is over the line. However I never intended nor cared about the remark which you dont seem to understand. One can poke fun at fail234 without expressing an opinion on the topic at hand.

Track record? That is comical. And who annointed you the authority of setting records straight?

There you go. Good job!

Seems like the definition of deflecting to me.

Umm, you seem confused. Nobody anointed anyone. I simply invited you to set your record straight since you seemed to believe I was misrepresenting you. You're welcome, by the way.

I didnt believe you were misrepresenting me. I believe you lack a sense of humor and actually took my response too seriously.

Obama also lied during his run in '08 and will probably do so again.

Defenders of any politician will say a lie is a misquote/misunderstanding, slip of tongue, etc.
Knowing stating such in an intent to deceive or misdirect is not justified.

Transparency
No lobbyists

Both were known well in advance to be unable to be met; yet he still spouted them off.

Nice thing about sound bites; they can cut both ways and for both sides depending on how they are used.
