i am trying to cdcopy on the 32x (16mb buffer) using Nti cdmaker standard 5.19. i get a medium source error on every cdr i use (4x,12x,24x). i have only been able to burn two cds, one of which was included with the drive. I think the mitsumi's are not SafeDisk2 compatible.
is this a cdr problem or a drive problem?
i cant get mitsumis nero 5.5 oem version installed in win98se. cdrwin and easy creator also dont recognize the drive.
Should i exchange for the liteon or get new burn software or upgrade to win2k?
My specs:
primary slave : mitsumi 32x cdrw
secondary slave : toshiba 16x dvd
os: win98se, IE6
burn software: nero (4,5.18,5.5) easy cd (3,4.02) nti (std5.19, pro 4.75) cdrwin (3.8) Bclip.
