I need some new CR-R's and was wondering if there 48x CD-R was good or not.

Also considering Princo, as well as 32x Memorex at the least...

I wouldn't buy any of those.

I've always had the best luck with Taiyo Yuden's which are MADE IN JAPAN, I think Fujifilm, TDK among other CD-R manufacturers make TY's.

They're available at your local CostCo B&M and Target B&M for a good price just make sure they say MADE IN JAPAN on the them.

I think Mitsumis are pretty good, at least lots better than your other options. All Mitsumi products (except a keyboard and mice :|) I ever had rocked.

I am in British Columbia, and Target does not exist here. Costco is about 50 miles away. All I have are Futureshop, Staple, and Officedepot.

Mitsumi makes good burners, can't vouch for their CDRs though. I would give them a try!

Are you sure it was Mitsumi and not "Mitsui"? I've never heard of Mitsumi the peripheral manufacturer making media, but Mitsui is a good brand of CD-R media. Great, in fact.
