Before you post anything about this being not such a hot deal, this CD-RW comes with 16MB buffer! None of your other CD-RW deals come with that... It also comes with Nero 5.5, which is reffered to by many as the best burning software.
Order from Mitsumi Direct for the CR 4809 TE Special Edition or the CR 480A TE
www.mitsumi.com

You can get a better deal with the OEM version of the newer CR 480A TE that comes with Nero for around $85 from:
http://www.pcinfinity.net/
according to pricewatch.com, but the PCInfinity website states $97, but this may include the $12 shipping stated on pricewatch. This seems like a the best deal if correct.

These Japanese drives are very well reviewed here in Europe and the latest review on the newest 32x12x40 CR 480A TE, also with 16MB buffer, (this model can be pre-ordered at the same site for $150) said that it did 99min. (866MB) CD-R at 32x with no problem, as well as mini-CD-R's.

Isn't a 16MB buffer over-redundant if we have BURN-proof protection or Smart-Burn, Smart-X, etc... Just my 2 cents.

I'll take a $45 CenDyne 24x drive (rebadged Mitsumi) with burn-proof protection over a $130 16MB buffer 24x Mitsumi any day, although I wouldn't want a Mitsumi drive in the first place. For $130 you could almost get a $40x drive.
