Mitsumi 7 in 1 Floppy & Card INSTALL question

There are 3 connections (power, traditional floppy (flat wide), and a USB). Do I plug in both the USB cable AND the floppy cable, along with the power? Or, do I only plug in one? If one, which one should I use?

All of them. The FDD runs off the legacy floppy disk controller and needs a separate power feed, while the card reader lives entirely off USB.
