1. The Diamondtron monitors are very nice. I have a GW VX1100 (21 inch version), and it is great.
2. If you get one, pay the extra $10 and get the grade A. You can't pay over $200 for a 19" monitor AND have screen burn. That would suck.
3. NEW 19" monitors can be had for as little as $130 with some of the deals I have seen pulled around here ($100 counting the Walmart clearance deal). Granted, those were not Trinitron/Diamondtron monitors, but still, $200+ seems like a lot of $ for a refurb 19" these days.
All that said, if you get the grade A version, you will probably love it (as long as it really is grade A). The only thing that I have found that I actually like better than the Mitsubishi Diamondtron monitors are LCD flat panels (easier on the eyes). I have to stare at the screen a lot, so I did opt for an 18.1" LCD, but for those on a tight budget, a Diamondtron/Trinitron is a good second choice.
