Mitsubishi Diamond plus 92 opinions

Hi all
Need your valued opinions on the Mitsiubishi Diamondtron NF Diamond Plus 92 19 inch monitor.

I am in a fortunate position to know a person who runs a wholesale business which sells these monitors. He willing to sell me it at $100 to $150 less than normal retail. He has no other line of monitors except LG.

They are still a fairly expensive monitor as they sell for normal price about $900 AU. I was wondering what you know of these monitors and if anyone is using them that you know and are happy with them.

I would have preferred the LG Flatron line of monitors, if that is what he has.

I have a LG 995E, I don't reccomend it except for extreme budget boxes, it was great for about 6 months then one day the crispiness went away from the picture. there is a moire pattern of fuzzines in the center and the edges, I can't get rid of it.

I can also get hold the NEC FE950 flat screen for a bit cheaper as well. So which one is it guys

I'm from Melbourne, so I can't really help you then.

The 995E model is not a Flatron, it's a regular CRT.

I've got the LG 795FT Plus Flatron and am really happy with it. Great crisp picture and truly flat.

I've had a 900U NF for some time and have been happy with it. I believe it is a close cousin to the Plus 92.

I like the Mitsubishi/NEC line of displays quite a bit. If you're used to Trinitrons, then you'll probably like what Mitsubishi has to offer. I've seen the 900U in person and it's great; rich colors with clear text and imaging.

See the monitor(s) in person if at all possible through a local vendor first, if at all possible.

We use a couple of Mitsiubishi Diamondtron NF Diamond Plus 91's for our smaller desktop monitors here at work(I'm assuming the92's are similar). I really like the Mitsu monitors (we use several Mitsu 2040u's for our workstations and I have 2020u for my home PC) and the Diamond Plus 91's have been excellent for us here. No problems at all, I recommend them highly. Accurate color and geometry.
