Mitsubishi 18.1 LCD

I'm starting to research the LCD's. I like the Mitsubishi I saw in Best Buy.
Anyone have any comments on this monitor?

Worst Buy.

You can buy the NEC's using same Panel as the Mitsubishi's from online at even better price.
NEC's has 3 years warranty, Mitsubishi's in retail channels has 1 years only.

its an awesome monitor, picked mine up at best buy, go for it gets a great picture

How is it for gaming? I've heard something about tracking or ghosting effects
on some LCD's.

The mitsubishi at best buy doesn't have DVI input though so watch out.

The 18 inch Mitsubishi LCD at BB does have DVI unless they changed the model in the last few weeks when I last looked at one. I bought one a few months ago when the NEC version was $750~, the Mitsubishi was $699 with $50 rebate, and the NEC equivalent does not have DVI. The only thing is the warranty is kind of short at 1 year, but I figure I upgrade my computer parts enough (even LCD's) that a one year warranty is good enough for me. The pixel response is about average, not sure what the numerical rating is but I'm guessing around 25ms. I had a Samsung 170t before this monitor, and the slower pixel response rates do not bother me at all for the games I play (MOHAA, BF1942, SOF2, U2, UT2).

just snatch one from Ebay. Lot's of Dell 1800FP. Pretty nice monitor
