Hi

I need to purchase a 19" CRT monitor from the Dell website, for my lab at the university.

The monitor will be paired with a new Dell P4 2.6 GHz/800 MHz, 512 MB/400MHz Dual Channel, 60GB, ATI 9800 Pro machine. Although this computer will be used primarily for Office XP, Photoshop (some minor image editing) etc, I have configured it such that it can also be used for.....er, 'non-productive' purposes also :D

Please give me your opinions on which of these would be the better choice.

Right now, I am in favour of the Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 930 SB as it seems to have better refresh rates than the Samsung. Also, i have heard good things about the Diamond Pro series in general.

I have a Samsung 955DF on another Dell, and i am not happy with that monitor, so iam a bit hesitant to buy another Samsung. However, this site ranks the Samsung 957MB very high.....

PCWorld review

I could not find any other reviews on the 930SB as it seems to be a rather new product.

Any other suggestions for a good 19" CRT monitor below $300 ?
(Although its not my money iam spending :) I still have to stay within budget)

All Sony trinitrons are more than $300. Most viewsonics i have checked out have had very mixed reviews. The Iiyama Vision Master Pro 452 (< $300) seems to have pretty poor specs. So, i have essentially narrowed it down to these two.
