CNN)Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell did not answer questions about his health Thursday, only saying there were "no concerns" after reporters asked him about what appeared to be bruises and bandages on his hands in recent days.
"Of course not," McConnell told reporters in the Capitol when asked if he had any health issues people should know about.
McConnell, who is up for reelection, later said there were "no concerns" when asked directly by CNN about the apparent bruises or if he had any other problems.

If

Damn! Look at the bruising on his hands and lip. Either he’s got a serious medical condition or Mitch has been throwing down. Since he won’t talk about it and everyone knows the first rule of fight club I think we know what’s happening.

I saw the pics of his hands yesterday with not much context and had no clue it was the hands of a pastey white male. I thought it was some black dude and it was just showing the bandages on the hands.

He's old - probably had a fall or something like that. It can happen when you get old. Not a surprise he'd want to cover it up though. Republicans are all about transparency.

Working in Healthcare, these look like hands of people in nursing homes that have falls and are on an anticoagulant. Older people have thinner skin and it doesn't take much to bruise. It doesn't necessarily mean he has anything life treating or progressive going on.

Mitch McConnell is closing in on 80 years old.
Bruises and bandaides is like jewelry to that demographic.
Get some blood taken and it ends up looking like you fell of a cliff and landed on the spot where they took blood

You guys are ruining my day dream of a secret underground senate fight club with your factually grounded suppositions.

they probably have him on some kind of blood thinners. They will cause that kind of discoloration. At his age it wouldn't be at all surprising.

The bandages look consistent with having blood drawn, so the hands are likely a side effect of that. Probably no major medical issue.

That's ridiculous. In the US, anyway, blood is drawn in the crook of the elbow. His hands look like senile purpura, the lip like he bonked himself somehow.

He's old.

F*k getting old. There is nothing "magical" or "golden" about old age

Imagine how little an issue this would be if the GOP wasn't consistently trying to weaponise infirmity. That's why he "had to" lie.

Was it even worth lying about? IMO No.

I remember having an outpatient procedure where they had an intravenous solution pumped into me through a needle they stuck in a vein in the top of my hand.

Hey Moscow Mitch, your orange buddy might loan you some makeup to cover the bruises.

Oh wait... even you are smart enough to not go to the WH because even you recognize that he refuses to do anything to even stop the spread of COVID in the fucking White House.
