Yeah, this was on slashdot today. I just thought it was funny. I could definitely use one of these things sometimes. Anyone else here have trouble getting up in the morning?

Just put a regular alarm clock further away from your bed. Then you don't have to waste your money.

thats pretty much the breaking point, 34.99 or 39.99 is too high to justify

Haha, this would be perfect for me. I cannot wake up to any conventional alarm so I set my AM/FM radio to some inbetween station on the AM band so it's just horrifying static and I turn the volume all the way up. The speaker distorts at this volume and produces some simply terrifying aural torture.

also, my roommates hate my alarm clock :p

HAHA, ohmygod, back when radio didn't suck, I had my alarm set up for an FM station at max volume. One evening, I apparently bumped the band switch, and it got kicked into AM. OHMYGOD, five hours later I was awakened by the sound of hell itself.
