Negative newegg reviews?

<--- runs for the hills.

I hear what your saying ,but look at all the new reviews ,with both cards.
The whole month of January?

I usually dont listen to Newegg reviews either, but something is up here

Maybe it is a insidious marketing campaign paid for by NVIDIA........

Disclaimer: No, I don't believe that.

Unlikely, but I wouldn't put it past them with their focus group fiasco not too long ago.

They just look like normal reviews to me, but I am sure that you guys have looked at the reviews of many different cards and done a statistical thing. Anyways if ati is having manufacturing problems like nvidia encountered - there will be no hiding it.

Only theme I've seen looking at 5770 and 5850s is crappy ATI drivers.

There have been issues with grey stripes, which got acknowledged by AMD. I'm not sure if they have fixed it yet. Out of the 5770's I have, one had the issue, the other one is running in my office pc just fine for a couple of weeks without issues.

Where did you see that?

Reading the one and two star reviews on Newegg, particularly on the HD 5750. About all you'll ever find is anecdotal evidence, there's rarely acknowledgment of driver issues (Nvidia or ATI) in most professional reviews. Generally they have to be looked at in a "where there's enough smoke there's fire" context.

Ya. Those negative reviews try to identify the problem, but who the hell knows if they are the problem or not. A few times in the past I have ranted about one thing or another, blaming a piece of Hardware, Windows, or some other thing only to find out later it was something else.

AMD could be having an issue, or possibly the Card Manufacturer has an issue. Could be something else like PEBCAK.

I made a grave error sorry.

My newegg review setting were somehow set to lowest rating first.

I'm such a moron.

I only checked out your first Link, but it does not follow the pattern you are claiming. In fact, there were a lot more Low Scores in November than in January. Which likely were Driver issues.

Perhaps the other Links match your argument, but I'm too lazy to look at them now.
