All of the GJ testimony has been released. I can't wait for the inevitable logical gymnastics. Also looking forward to seeing the stimulative effects of destruction.

Automatic gunfire? According to the PD yes:
https://twitter.com/stlcountypd/status/537108260692975618

Store owner in front of his trashed store:
https://vine.co/v/O1XlODJtUrh

Wouldn't you think the cops are imagining automatic fire? Obviously semi-auto can be plenty quick, and it would surprise me if a rioter actually had an automatic weapon.

I feel awful for that Ferguson Market owner. Poor bastard first gets robbed by Michael Brown, then has his store torn up by rioters not once but twice. It just sucks. Regardless the focus will continue to be on Michael Brown as the "victim."

Seems highly unlikely anybody is running around with a machine gun among protesters, but on the other hand when you've heard auto gun fire it sounds like that and not semi, so who knows.

I assume that guy has owned that store for many years and now, for having done absolutely nothing at all, he's seen his store ransacked twice and probably wonders how the hell the area he served for so many years seems to hate him so much. It is sad.

My wife's family lives very close to where all this is going down (they live in Florrisant, close to Ferguson), probably a mile or two away from some of this stuff. It's scary right now. The police are obviously not in any position to respond to much of anything, so looting/breakins/burglaries are rampant right now. They are pretty much hunkering down in their house, thankfully well armed in case of trouble.

If ever there was a good example of why everyone should have the right to bear arms, this is it. You can't count on the cops to protect you or maintain law and order, you have to protect yourself and your family.

This is the truest piece of information is this thread. There are and always will be periods of time where gov't cannot protect your property and your life. Arming yourself is no different than having an umbrella insurance policy.

Yup. Better have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

CCW permits are going up and up.

<<--- is counting on two friends - Mr. Glock and Mr. Hornady Hollow Point.

I have to fully agree. A bunch of fucking crazy nutjobs running around looting, looking to loot, set fire, turn over cars, and start shit in general..... All you want to do is maintain your home. You better have a fucking gun. I know every liberal is stirring the pot with "dur hurr cops have tanks ur gun isn't gun do ne ting!!". Who said it was the cops?

Thankfully, I don't need a CCW to carry a shotgun in my own home at least.

There is about 0% chance that any of the protestor loonies would have federal dealer license with class 3 and I'm pretty sure auto guns are more or less unobtanium in the black market.

The AutoTire and the business next door are actively being looted. 50-60 subjects at the auto tire. They stole a pair of cars and ran them in the front.
Gotta go to bed. It sounds like there are tons of police around, but all this looting means either not enough are there or they're not protecting businesses as aggressively as they could. I bet they are pretty gunshy about appearing heavy handed, but that may be the reason so many businesses are being trashed.

What justice? There was never a chance that Wilson would ever be charged with anything.

Wonder how long until Wilson shoots another black kid for sport. What is funny is he got married, hope his wife doesn't plan on having kids, if they ever back talk they'll catch a bullet.

You kiss your mother with that mouth?

While you sit there and ponder how long before that happens, another half-dozen buildings in Ferguson were burned to the ground.

Fuck you. Do not have a nice day. You are a bad person. Maybe someday you will stop allowing yourself to be manipulated by black leaders. I'm not holding my breath waiting for that to happen.

And in the time I typed this out, yet another building was looted and burned.

Congratulations on the new mecca you have helped build.

Easily obtained. You think thousands of tons of drugs come into the country every year but guns can't be smuggled in? Not to mention the ease with with any machinist can modify an AK or AR type weapon to full auto. The real issue is, even hardened criminals know that the utility of a fully automatic weapon doesn't justify the 10 years added on your sentence for possessing one.

That said, the odds of a full auto weapon being used in this case is pretty low in my opinion.

The unidentified witness wrote that the 18-year-old Brown “has his arms out with attitude,” while “The cop just stood there.” The witness added, “Dang if that kid didn’t start running right at the cop like a football player. Head down.”

The witness told of hearing “3 bangs,” but “the big kid wouldn’t stop.”

^ Justifiable. So what are they protesting for?
The right to rob stores, and get away with it?
The right to assault people, and get away with it?

These are protests against law and order. These are protests against us that, if realized, constitute an existential threat. How should a nation act against this violence, what should our response be?

They've been given rules of engagement that prevent them from keeping the peace. If I were a business owner whose location had been looted/burned/etc, I'd be suing the police for not doing their job. Of course, I'd be at my place of business armed to the teeth... However, I'd bet if I defended my business the police would have me in cuffs instead and that is what would probably be the most fucked thing of the night.

Can anyone interpret the THC levels?

Wilson only showed a high creatinine level.

Site is slammed, so keep trying.

Your link isn't working, but the one report I'm looking at shows that his urine THC levels were too high to quantify (one metabolite is greater than 25 ng/mL, the other is greater than 150 ng/mL). He also had detectable blood levels of THC. The interpretation would be that he had recently smoked. I'd have to look up reference levels for the blood to see if there's any correlation to blood levels to cognitive function.

Wilson's high creatinine urine level is meaningless, because its only used to interpret other urine metabolites. Don't worry about that, doesn't say anything about him. It is basically a reference data point used to control how "concentrated" his urine is (somewhat simplified explanation).

From the document dump; witness 10, page 4-5 stands out. Lotta docs hard to get, site is slammed.

Wrong case to build a movement on, hope Brown's death doesn't become the cancer it inevitably will if folks continue to build their hate and angst from lies and deception that started the entire fallout after Brown was shot.

Media still not getting it... what happened, what actually happened. It's a non story that's been whipped up into something that is still endangering lives and livelihoods.

So? Why should I care what someone like you thinks? You've been cheering for Wilson from the start because he showed a black kid his place. Says a lot about you and the animals that raised you.

Protesting that the law only works for some people?

Accepting the world as it is, not as we would expect or want it to be, and proceed with caution.

For all the jokers speaking about peace, many are the same ones sowing the seeds of hate and ignorance that has helped fuel the rioting and violence. It's a very pathetic sleight of hand from many of these folks who call for peace in order to give themselves a pedestal from which to sow seeds of hate and ignorance on this case.
