Mission Accomplished

Yeah I was going to do that, but my mom had the ferrari and I didn't want to show up at futureshop in my H2 just yet - my spinners are in the mail.

is that a PF775? Looks exactly like mine.... I've thought about painting mine before but I'm afraid of ruining it. Don't want to make a $300 mistake 😛

Yup bang on, P775 (no f in mine). I did it because black is elite. Beige is for suckers.

Oh and I got it for 120$ initially so no big deal.

Black is elite and beige is for suckers....spray painted computer parts are ______ ?

But damn fine job on the painting!

Looks like a nice job. However, the pics don't give too much justice to the good (or bad?) paint job. One of those gotta-be-there-to-see kinda things. Did you take the whole monitor shell off to paint I hope? The pre-spray pic makes it look as if you didn't gut the case before painting. If not, I hope the vent holes didn't get spray paint in them (which would be about impossible)!

They definetly did get some paint in them - but the thing has been on for 6 hours without any problems.

I can post some higher res photos later on.

The back is held on by 4 screws. I can't believe you didn't remove it before painting it.

You probably didn't get much in the vents, but still...

I didn't want to risk opening the monitor at all.

edit - after pointing that out I really feel stupid. What the hell is wrong with me, I'm very surprised I did not think to do that, doh.
