Missing pin on monitor cable

My brother managed to break a pin on his MAG 786FD 17" montor. Is there anyway to fix this?

EDIT: It ended up being the CPU was not seated well enough on the motherboard. Its a Slot A Thunderbird and it must have gotten knocked around a little when my brother moved. I should have taken a closer look at the computer before I posted 😀

It sounds like if you do break a pin on the monitor cable you are screwed. 😀 Luckily it was not that.

If you can take the end of the cable off you can resolder the pin back on. I've done this on a few older monitors, but never on a new one. Hopefully you won't have to replace the entier connector as that would be a royal pain.
