Where in the world is Anand??

Does he have any involvement in the main website anymore?? I remember a while back how he would have a hand in many of the articles, and would write up at least one a month. But I haven't seen anything written up by him in a long time. Does he still own AnandTech, or has he moved on? Is he done with school, and if so, does he have a job that eats up more of his time so that the site is an afterthought. Though when he is seen on AT he only seems to do CPU articles about upcoming processors, or review the top end Intel/AMD CPU's.

Don't want to sound like an alarmist, but I was just curios if he is still involved in the site?

Idunno, maybe it's because he's trying to juggle classes and assignments, his upcoming graduation from college along with making plans for his wedding...

Ya think that could be why?????????????????????

Pfft I did that with no problems at all. Was taking 24 hours my last semester, working full time, and was taking care of wedding plans along with doing all of the INS paperwork for my wife :D Let's just say things have calmed down a bit since then.

Hope he's not getting an arranged marriage.

(Of course because he's Indian-American (not the feather kind) I'm making the idiotic assumption that his parents are setting him up. )

If i was anand, I think I'd be amazed thinking of how far this site has all come in 6 or 7 years whatever it's been now. There is like a whole community here. I'd be proud. :)

No, it's not arranged(at least, Anand has never said it was, and seems madly in love with this girl).

I second that.

Please don't think that by me starting this (admittedly, bating) thread that I don't like Anand. He should be very honored at what this site has become. I have saved a lot of $$ by reading the recommendations about hardware and also the Hot Deals forum. I visit this site several times a day. It really is the standard PC Hardware/Forums site without equal.

That's barely doing anything...I worked 80hrs a week, had 30units of grad school, became a surrogate mother, and climbed Everest twice...all in the last quarter. :)

I post daily, but there were new articles posted on:

THREE on March 30th
One each on Aril 2, 3, 4, and 5 and there's a new one today

That's the usual rate for hardware sites. 4-5 articles a week with daily news updates.
