Missing gifs on webpages

For some reason alot of webpages aren't loading correctly for me. Alot of .gifs aren't showing up unless i refresh the page 2 or 3 times. Only thing that has changed the last several days is i installed SP1. Usin WinXP and IE6, cable modem connection so i doubt it's a bandwidth issue. Here's a screenshot of what happens.
