missing drive

I have two Seagate drives attached to the onboard SCSI in on an Asus P2B-DS.
Only one shows in my OS - Windows XP Pro. Entering the host adapter's
setup - both drives are listed. It knows they're both there, what they are
and how big they are. However the boot up info only lists a size for one of
the drives. The second drive has been verified and low level formatted via
the SCSI utilities, but canot be seen via any of the disk management tools,
not even good ole FDISK. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks in
advance for the assistance!

first I would make sure the jumpers are set correctly, then I would activate the drive in xp, by following the instructions in the forum checklist
