missing .dll files with XP?

once in a while, when i try to install drivers or a plugin, a get an error message saying something about a missing .dll. i have to retry installing the drivers or plugin a few times before it works

is there any program i can get to check all the .dlls on my system???

I dont know about any programs. But you can find the missing dlls at http://www.dll-files.com/

There are other similiar websites as well.
