For a long time, Costco was my supplier for the mexican hot sauce goodness known as "Cholula", at $6.29 for two 12oz bottles it wasn't a bad deal. A couple months back they stopped carrying it. So I went to Safeway, it's not there either. A couple times I went to Raley's where it was $3.59 for a single 5oz bottle, which sucked, but man, do I love that sauce. Now even Raley's doesn't have it, all they have is the garlic one which just isn't the same.

Looking around online, many places there don't have stock either. The cheapest place to order it online is from the manufacturer by the case, at which point 12-12oz bottles will run around $57 shipped while the temping 4 1/2 gallon jugs would only be a few bucks more. Most places that DO have it are selling it for $7.50 for a 12 oz bottle. And that is a lot of sauce for a single guy.

What the hell happened?! Did all the oil speculators become delicious hot sauce speculators?

Cholula >>>>>>>>>>>>> Tabassco sauce

I'll have to look around at Walmart and see if I can still find it.

they have lots of recipes on their website. Cholula burgers are awesome.
