missing capacitors/resistors on DIMM, is it still good?

I accidently knocked over a new system build and two tiny SOIC chips were broken off of the memory stick. I'm running memtest86 on it right now to see if it operates correctly. System posted fine and there haven't been any errors yet.

Should I risk using this ram, or should I toss it?

If you are building this for someone who is paying you to build it right, then NO, it's not OK to use it, even if it tests OK.

If it's for YOU and it's "stable enough" so be it.

It is for me... i would never sell broken stuff to anyone.

It passed all tests on memtest, so I guess I'll use it still.
