Missing boot.ini (ignore this, I got it)

I had to reboot my computer a few mins ago and I got a message saying that boot.ini could not be found. It then said it was going to load C:\Windows, which worked. I checked and boot.ini is actually gone and I'm not sure what it is suppose to look like. So my question is what does a boot.ini file need to look like to boot Windows XP from the primary partition on a SATA drive?
Thanks
