Missing BIOS settings after CMOS reset

Hi,

I have a Asus P8 Z77-V LK motherboard and a I5 3750K CPU. I had to reset the CMOS. Now some of the settings are missing from my bios such as setting the CPU ratio for each core and some of the other advance features. It also limits me to overclocking to the 3.8 ghz. I tried using TurboV EVO and a lot of the settings are missing too. Is there something I did wrong when I reset the CMOS? I followed the manual about changing the jumpers. Thanks.

Maybe there is a setting to unlock manual overclocking?

Thanks for the reply. I didn't see any settings in the BIOS or the manual. I had this motherboard for about two years and this hasn't happen before. I think I have the latest firmware. It almost seems like it doesn't recognize it's a "K" version CPU.

I forgot to say that my motherboard is only seeing half of my memory. I have 16 GB but it's only reading 8 GB. It's really weird.

When you reset - that is Clear CMOS the board will boot with default settings. Normally I keep OC'g profiles on hand and simply boot from a selected profile.

NOTE: For you to access the OC'g BIOS features I believe you have to select System Performance as NORMAL, save settings and reboot.
