About to get the following compilation;

-Intel CORE 2 QUAD Q6600 2.4GHZ (G0 stepping)
-Noctua NH-U12F
-Mushkin 2 x 1Gb, SP2-6400+, DDR2 800Mhz (4-5-5-12)
-8800 GT 512MB or the new 8800 GTS 512MB once they come out
-Samsung DVD+-RW Dual Layer, SH-S203B/BEBN, 20x8x48x, SATA, bulk
-Samsung 500GB Spinpoint T166, 3.5", SATAII/300, 16MB, 7200RPM (already have)
-CoolerMaster 700W, Real Power M700 Modular
-Antec P182B ATX-towercase, 4x5.25, 7x3.5, Gun Metal (already have)

+ internal 4-in-1-card reader with usb-slot and 250GB SATA-hard drive from my current comp.

As you can notice, there is no motherboard included, and would like some help to get one that matches rest of the system. Nothing high-end, if you please, since budget is quite nifty as it is.
SLi could be nice, since I might get anohter GT(s) later next year, but it's not carved in stone yet. Some overclocking-features would be nice too, so I could squeese bit more out of that q6600. Comp is for gaming mostly, but ofc I watch movies/listen music/do my photoshop etc. with it also. Target is to build fairly quiet Game-PC. If you got any suggestions to improve the system within the same price range, I'm all ears :)

Unless you're getting in on some nice rebate deal, consider another power supply.

RAM is a commodity these days, so just get the cheapest that will do what you want. Frys.com has Corsair Ballistix for $50 plus shipping, no rebate required. Also had OCZ for $20 after rebate with free shipping (today only, I think). Both were DDR2-800 CAS 4.

For SLI motherboard, if you don't need specific features and aren't going for that monster overclock, then just get a cheap 680i "Lite" chipset board or even a 650i SLI board. You can even do cheaper and get a nice P35 chipset board, but you mentioned possibly SLI.
