Missed my UPS package (Friday)

Can I do anything? I know Fedex (the best) lets you pick shit up but I've been browsing the UPS site and don't see any info on this.

You can pick it up from your local UPS depot. Call 1800 PICK UPS and let them know you want to pick it up, they will tell you where it is.

Ugh that sucks.. Ours is open until 9pm on weekdays and also open Saturday until noon.

Its a major UPS dist. center though which is why its probably open so late.

Thing is, I didn't only have 1 but 5 packages.. and this was the 2nd day.

Was going to start Shadows of the Colossus 40 mins ago.

Fuck it. I'll just buy the game right now. No patience.

If it was the 2nd day, then didnt they leave a "missed delivery" note on your door? If so, then why didnt yuo just sign the signature release if you knew you werent going to be home?

If you can figure out the number of the actual UPS facility, they can sometimes do "same day will-call" (mine makes you come back at ~9:30PM). Asking the same of the 1-800-UPS-DUMBASS number will get you nothing but bewildered confusion, so you need to call the actual local facility, however finding out their number isn't always easy. And they still might fuck it up, so YMMV.

Uhh what happens is you call the 1-800-PICK-UPS number, give them the tracking # adn say you want to pick it up locally. They will put in a request. My roommate's done it as late as 5pm and the local facility calls you back shortly with instructions to pick up. They've called back as late as 8:00 and the pickup window is 830 - 9.

I signed the first notice thinking it would make a difference, but "signature required on delivery" pwned me
