Technically I didn't miss it, but there was no one at the Frontier desk when I got there 45 minutes before flight time. Me and this other fellow ended up missing the flight.
It really makes no sense. For one, how would the desk not have anyone working there before the flight?! I've arrived at check in desks way later than 45 minutes and still made it all of the times i've ever flown.
Here's the really dumb thing. There was a note on the desk that said the desk is open from like 7:15 AM to 8:45 AM and 2-4 PM. My flight was at 5 PM. If the brochure says be there 45 minutes before the flight, what's the point if no one is there?
At least sit someone there so I can re-schedule. How are these people making money working 3 and a half hours a day.
I hate Frontier now, but the lady(who came back 2 hours or so later) was really nice so I couldn't yell at her. She hooked me and the other victim up with a reschedule gratis. Kind of a huge waste of a day though.
Anyways, I know a bunch of you will be like "WAAH You should have left earlier!" Well if you know Philadelphia then you know there are a million things that can go wrong on 95 that will cause one (or perhaps thousands) of people to be late for they want to go, no matter how early they leave. And you can't leave too early because when you do everything goes right and you have 3 hours to kill in the airport.
