Missed my flight today.

Technically I didn't miss it, but there was no one at the Frontier desk when I got there 45 minutes before flight time. Me and this other fellow ended up missing the flight.

It really makes no sense. For one, how would the desk not have anyone working there before the flight?! I've arrived at check in desks way later than 45 minutes and still made it all of the times i've ever flown.

Here's the really dumb thing. There was a note on the desk that said the desk is open from like 7:15 AM to 8:45 AM and 2-4 PM. My flight was at 5 PM. If the brochure says be there 45 minutes before the flight, what's the point if no one is there? At least sit someone there so I can re-schedule. How are these people making money working 3 and a half hours a day.

I hate Frontier now, but the lady(who came back 2 hours or so later) was really nice so I couldn't yell at her. She hooked me and the other victim up with a reschedule gratis. Kind of a huge waste of a day though.

Anyways, I know a bunch of you will be like "WAAH You should have left earlier!" Well if you know Philadelphia then you know there are a million things that can go wrong on 95 that will cause one (or perhaps thousands) of people to be late for they want to go, no matter how early they leave. And you can't leave too early because when you do everything goes right and you have 3 hours to kill in the airport.

Weird. You'd think they'd have those automated checkin kiosks if they weren't gonna staff the friggin desk. But even so, how the heck would you check your luggage? I don't think I'd fly Frontier after hearing this story.

Frontier is great....never had a problem with them. And it's kinda nice because their hub is here in CO at DIA. I dunno...I do like Delta too because with them I can just swipe my Delta card and it prints out my tickets and I'm on my way. But then I usually do not check baggage when I fly either.

I won't fly with them either. I spent 15 minutes on hold 2 times with the number they said to call on the note, and all they could tell me was that the person should come back to the desk "soon," which was an hour after my flight left. It's two run down desks with no electronic check-in. (That's not saying much though as the entire PHL is pretty gangster)

The more I think about it, the more aggrivating the situation is. I'm sitting there 45 minutes before my flight, looking at the board as its says "On Time to Denver: 5:00 PM"

The counter in Orlando was like that as well, what kinda wierded me out about it was that the person who checked me in also was taking tickets to board the plane...
I would bet that is where yours were as well.
That being said I have had no real problems with them.
