are you a weekend warrior? what i mean is after your back gets feeling better you need to excercise it during the week.Originally posted by: Riprorin
I tweaked it stretching last Friday and again raking leaves on Monday. It was bothering me off and on last week but it suddenly flared up on Saturday morning for no apparent reason.
This is the worst pain I've ever had.
I'll be going to the chiropractor in a couple of hours. Hopefully she can fix me.

Some folks aren't allowed to take vacation time.
That sucks, hopefully just muscular tho. I screwed mine up years ago by crashing in a bike race.....it was so bad I had to take a medical withdrawl from my last semester of college.Originally posted by: Riprorin

Hot packs, cold packs, and Advil will be your friends the next few weeks.
Not really since my injury was basically just muscular. I try to keep my core strength up as much as possible to prevent re-injuring it since cycling places a lot of stress on the lower back. A good friend of mine who had two discs fused showed me a bunch of good stuff to do with a stability/yoga ball (part of his rehab process).....you may ask your doc about that once you get healed up.Originally posted by: Riprorin

That was too bad to miss your last semester. Has it given you much trouble since then?
