As in Dear Ms./Miss blah.

I've been taught that it's Ms., but in this job description it says contact:

"Miss ....
address
city"

Miss is the tradtional term, Ms. is the feminist-created term that was designed to be the equivilent of Mr.(since a woman's title switches on marriage, a man's doesn't; Ms. can be used in either case). Ms. is the PC term, but Miss/Mrs is still more widely used.

Oh, and Ms. is pronounced "Miz", it's not short-hand for Miss.

Use exactly the same as listed in the job description. They put it that way for a reason - if you get it wrong, it will be noticed.
