i had two win98 machines hooked up with crossover cable and ICS, been running it fine for about a months. recently i felt a need to swap to roles of two computers, turning the server into the client and vice versa. i went ahead and moved the WAN network card, updated the settings for lan (192.168.0.1->192.168.0.2 and vice versa, DNS and gateway settings)
at the moment, ICS works just fine (i am writing this on the new client as we speak) but for some odd reason the server could access the client, but the client cannot. nothing except 'Entire network" appears in the network neighborhood, yet when i search for the server's identifier name, it appears there without any ability to access. the error generated reads: \\xxxx is not accessible. No error information is avaiable.

thx in advance 🙂
