Been waiting for this game for ever since Play ran an article on it. Looks to be revolutionary.

The music and landscape evoke a Hong Kong movie so its already a 10/10 in my book.

I don't know. Part of me thinks it's kind of cool, the rest of me remembers that the jump-or-die parts of FPS games were pretty universally hair-pullers, and a whole game of it might be nothing more then purified electronic rage.

It looks like this year's Portal, which is a good thing. It'll also support PhysX, so I'll be looking forward to testing that out on my gpu.

Speaking of Portal, here's the trailer portion of Mirror's Edge played in Portal.

They do, I'm friends with one, we worked together. He has a very slick clean style to his designs. Which IMO fits in perfectly with this games style

They needs to fix the hands a bit, they're a little too stiff; especially when grabbing things and pulling herself up; also noticeable when running.

Looks like it might be kind of an updated Oni. Could be cool, I had a lot of fun with that game.

The E3 coverage on this was very impressive. Sort of a first person Assassin's Creed, depending on how many things you can climb/jump on.

do you troll every one of my threads?

Trolling is such a harsh word. I prefer pointing out your whinyness.

I fail to see where he was whiny in this thread. You are just trolling, plain and simple. If you can't live with that fact, then kill yourself.

I was going to say pretty much the same thing, minus the killing himself part. Thanks.

Keep it friendly, shall we.

Game looks like it has potential, I'm a bit sceptical though. Running around, climbing, jumping, doing some fun acrobatics is fun for a little while, but there has to be more to it. I also wonder how exactly physx will play a role in this game.

it looks like there is some fps and hand to hand type combat to go along with it.

I just hope it doesn't share the same flaw as Assassin's Creed and end up overly repetitive.

AC was that funnest game ever for the first hour or two, until you realize that you do the same things over and over for the rest of the game.

I can see Mirror's Edge falling into the same trap, so I hope they add some variance from time to time.

I wonder how open the level design will be... invisible barriers to keep you on a linear path?
