Mirror's edge worth $30?

Just browsing gamestop's site and they have mirror's edge for $30 new. I've heard it's pretty repetitive and not really long enough, but for $30 vs. $60 it might be worth it now. What's everybody's opinion on this one?

I really liked it and I'd say $30 is a good price. Amazon just had it as a deal of the day a few days ago for $20 though, that's a steal.

I've played it through several times. It's fun playing because it is different from pretty much every game out there now. It's original and a nice change, but it really is too short. The second time you play through the story you can cut the game time in half, and almost in half again the third time because you know the fastest routes, especially if you play the time trials. There aren't very many different moves, and the game really only uses 7 buttons including WASD, so it gets pretty easy. Also, there really is only one route to complete a level.

I don't know if it's worth $30, it all depends on how much money you have I suppose. Oh, and there is no multiplayer other than just trying to beat everyone's times.

edit: I played on pc. I forgot this was console forum, but it all pretty much still applies.

Well I have a gift card that'll cover it so it's not technically my money going for it, but if it's not worth wasting gift cards I'll save them for something else. I was planning on getting the new Riddick game but I heard that's not a great buy at $60 when you've played the original, which I have.

id say its only really worth a rental.

i enjoyed that game a lot though.

I've had it since day one but never bothered to finish it for some reason. It's a pretty decent game that's really unlike anything else out there. A rare risk for EA. It's really no shorter than a lot of games out there today in the same genre. DLC is slowly coming available to add more time trial maps complete with online ranking. $30 is a good price for it.
