Hi,
I know you have to forward port 113 to the computer that is connecting to IRC because of the identd thing, but is there a way to use 2 machines at the same time on the same server?

I dont think so

firstly, i don't think u need to forward any ports to get irc to work....at least i didn't have to.
secondly, i believe the number of connections per ip that is allowed varies from network to network. i know on irc.enterthegame.com u are allowed a max of 3 connections. but if u talk to an admin, u can get that raised.

some servers allow you to connect without any identd thing

I can connect to some servers without forwarding 113 too... but not on most EFNet's servers
