mIRC over DSL Lan

hello... i have DSL & i wanted it to share to my network... i have everything setup, hardware & software(winroute) (hopefully its setup properly) and everythings wroking fine.... surfing speeds & downloads & network access is fast... my problem is mIRC.. i cant seem to get connected to any servers... i always get a timeout error in connection of k-lined error.... can anyone give me instructions,detailed instructions on how to properly share my DSL over LAN? i already got 2 NIC on my server but i just dont understand why MiRC wont work... pls help me here pls...

Port 1024 must be open (forwarded) for networks like DALnet that need an ident responce, else you will get that K-line message most, but not all, of the time. Search "mIRC and LAN" on Yahoo.

What are you smoking? Identd runs on 113. It wouldn't specifically say "K-lined" if you didn't have it running, it would most likely say "Banned" instead.

Werty: forward 113 to your machine, or have an IRC client running on your server to function as an identd server. BTW, efnet owns you 😉 Dalnet blows
 
are there any step by step guides & sample illustrations? i rili dont mind if im gona go back to scratch as long as this will make it work.... any help rili is needed.... how to do all those suggestions u gave me.... pls...
