mIRC and XDCC receive???

Hello ALL:

I hate problems like this one...it used to work!

I have Mirc 6.x and was trying to get a file. When the "bot" trys to send it with /ctcp, I get a message saying that I could not get a .tar file. I think it said it was not allowed!

I never remember telling mirc that I did not want this type. Is this defaulted off somehow?

Maybe a firewall problem? ...and more likely, it was a .RAR file, not a .TAR file.

Nope...I always had the Firewall/Router. Also, it was a TAR. I know we use them in *NIX but they will work in windows as well.
