Well, I went today, it was awesome! The museum I volunteer was there and had a trailer with seats on the roof, so that was nice.
They had a demonstration (as is tradition) of the MAGTAF--that is the coordination between the various arms of the Marines, so they showed off Tanks, Attack Helos, and Fixed-Wing aircraft in unison. They also had planted explosives to simulate bombs and explosive bullets being fired off by Hornets, Harriers, and Cobras.
Of course, what really is awesome is the static displays of just about every aircraft in service in the USMC. Attack Helicopters like the AH-1W/Z Cobra, the UH-1Y Huey Venom, the F-18 Hornets and Harriers, good shit all around. And the aviators would surround their craft and answer questions and talk about all sorts of cool shit. Depending on the craft you could climb in the cock pit and see what is up.
They also had static displays of the Tanks, APCs, AAVs, and artillery.
Also, the ground pounders were there as well, bringing their guns along with them, showing them off to people. Its pretty cool seeing an M4, M16 and M249 IRL (I've seen em before, but it's a cool thrill for other peeps, and I enjoy it.)
I also met some Marine Recon Snipers who showed me their .50 Cal sniper rifle, and the bolt action Remington 700. I also got to strap on their 40 pound kit onto my back, and I can tell you these guys have a hell of an intense job.
The Army was there as well, they had an Apache and a Blackhawk, but I have to say, the Army was a bit lazier than the Marines, the Apache guys weren't though.
Awesome day today all in all.  To all who serve and have served.
