Is there a way to use a miracast device via a windows PC?
I got the Netgear Push2TV dongle and it works with my Nexus 7. The manual says to download Intel WiDi to use on a PC, however I can't even install it because I get an error that the PC (it mentions graphics card) is not supported.
The card is a Radeon HD 6900M series card.
I did some quick searching and I found an Intel site that says it only works when it comes pre-installed on a system, like the manufacturer has to make sure the laptop has like 5 requirements for it to work.
This seems ridiculous to me. Some people mentioned that they did get it to work on custom built PCs and others had no luck with it.
anyone mess with it? is there an alternative method?
