you do realize using 2 bit actors as contestants on game shows has been done for decades, both intentionally for the first episodes of a series, and then inadvertantly later as people get picked for shows

Wow, I just finished watching a blu-ray movie on my ps3 and switched over to cable to see what was on. I had it tuned to NBC already and this show was on. Guy started talking about the contestants grandfather and the contestant immediately started to cry. Now you might be thinking the grandfather passed away, no, he just couldn't be there. So they got him on the phone (which was prerecorded as there was no actual conversation) and the guy just broke down and cried even more.

That's some great acting.

What a ridiculous show.

Not as bad as the staging that takes place on the Undercover Boss tv show. That is so staged and phoney it's laughable.

I've lost many a night of sleep contemplating the fact that there are people in this world that would not have realized this from the beginning.


the fact that every reality show contestant, anywhere, is an "aspiring actor," should have clued one in to this. but no...people eat this shit up.
