minum standard PSU 4 athl64 3000?

i was thinking (or more acuritely am, going to) buy a :
athlon 64 (939)
Chaintech S1689 ULi Socket 939 ATX Motherboard

the problem is that i am a skint student, and PSU's seem to be quite expensive.
i already have a 300atx psu and was wondering if this could be used with the above?

Another question i have is, i have memory from my P4, will this work with the 939?
i think i heard that it does, but its always nice to be sure

Well, Winchester doesn't really eat up much of power even with OC. So, CPU itself consumes something like 60W max, which is similar to Northwood or Barton. So, unless you will try massive OC, your current 300W PSU will be fine as long as it's not that crappy PSU.
