Mint 14 Mate Updates?

Hi guys i installed mint 14 nadia and did the sudo apt-get dist-upgrade and now i have this!,should i keep this upgrade or revert to the original mint14 nadia?

I guys i just installed Mint14 Nadia and did sudo apt-get dist-upgrade and now i have Ubuntu Quantal 12.10, should i keep this or revert to the original Mint 14 Nadia?

In-place upgrades aren't supported with Mint. They want to to clean install each time. That's not to say you can't, but it isn't supported. I don't think you can cleanly roll it back. You could try, but I you'll end up with problems. If it works, it works. I'd leave it alone, and use it as-is. You could also wait until their lts is released(presumably in the spring with Ubuntu), and clean install then.

Thanks lxskllr;it works ok nothing wrong with it,alot better then the Xubuntu 12.04 that i had prior which failed to boot and giving me a black screen with »Grub rescue« and couln't even boot with the xubuntu cd,i tried to reinstall xubuntu but no avail, cause i'm not very patient when something goes wrong i rather take the short road and do a full install, that's what i did,i had this Mint 14 Nadia Cd around and just put in the drive and rebooted at first it only gave me half grafics then i rebooted an the second try it rebooted right and i installed Mint 14 very smoothly and it runs great on this pentium4 machine.
