Minor Question: Antec NeoPower 480

I have a vintage P-3 (800) server I've been using for the last three years or so. A stupid idea, but I originally set it up with a dual-drive RAID-0 array, doing periodic backups.

Now that you can get ATA100 drives of 160 GB with after-rebate prices of around $50, I decided to expand the system for more security and less performance. But I will add more disks, so it is time for the cheap Enermax PSU to go. I decided to replace it with an Antec NeoPower 480 -- anticipating that the NeoPower would serve equally well for an eventual P4 + mobo replacement. And geez -- I found the NeoPower for about $95.

DOES ANYONE KNOW THE AMPERAGE RATING ON THE 120MM FAN INSIDE THE NEOPOWER? It is an Antec 120mm fan. The amperage would give me a ball-park idea of what CFM's in airflow to expect, as I reconfigure the case fans for this puppy.

Thanks -- sorry for such a trivial question.

It might be easy to replace that fan with one of greater amperage, but (a) it would void the warranty, and (b) I'm not sure how the thermal control circuitry within the NEoPower is matched to a fan with the rpm range you cite.

This means that I will probably have to add an additional exhaust fan to the case. An extra PITA.

Oh, that's a given. If it were pulling even 0.30A, it would spin up to around 2,500 rpm. That's pretty much the pairing of speed and amperage on these 120mm jobs.
