I just bought a 3.5 floppy a Teac from newegg. Tried installing it yesterday, in windows 2000 and when i have it in and i load windows it tells me to insert my system disk. I tried my cable both ways, a lil help!!

It sounds as if you've loosened the IDE cable to the HDD whilst installing the Floppy.
When the system looks for something to boot from it can't find it.

In the case of the floppy, if the green light stays on all the time from system boot then the cable is on the wrong way round. If it flashes during the power on self test (POST) and then goes out again, it is on correctly.
