I've noticed on my laptop with vista that it takes a while (15 seconds or so) after the system resumes from standby/sleep to reconnect to my wireless network and have internet access.
This isn't the case with my Windows XP laptop--exact same specs (I have two identical laptops with differen OSs). On the xp machine, the network connects almost instantly (within 1-2 seconds), quickly enough so that it seems as if it never disconnected for all intensive purposes.
Has anyone noticed this? Or is it just my machine? It's no big deal, not like it limits usability. Just curious to see if its just my machine.
