My gf drives a Nissan Xterra. She pulled slightly too far into a parking space last week and hit a pole going about 5mph. The damage is pretty minor- pushed one side of the bumper in slightly. Unfortunately it seems like Xterras have very little clearance in the wheel well, and with the bumper pushed in (the bumper and wheel well are all one piece) the front tire scrapes on the well when making turns.
See highlighted area in picture. This is not her car (and does not have the damage), but you'll get the idea

You can see that the side of the bumper is attached to the edge of the body. When the bumper pushed back, the aluminum above the wheel well buckled very slightly, so I think the issue is that the bumper is both pushed in slightly, and angled down slightly, and now the very bottom edge of the well rubs against the tire.
Would a body shop just pull it back into place for cheap? GF is kinda tight on cash right now so she's less concerned with cosmetics and more with not screwing up the car when she has to drive it. Other suggested DIY fixes are also welcome.
