Minolta Maxxum 5 or Maxxum 7??????

been looking around at camera's the past couple days and have it narrowed down between these 2 cameras. im gonna be using the camera mostly for racing (le mans, f1, etc) my question is it really worth the $200+ to get the Maxxum 7, or should i just get the Maxxum 5? if you have any other camera suggestions let me know. thnx a lot

I'm partial to my Canon EOS A2 but that's probably out of your price range..:D
What are you going to be doing with the pics? Is it for personal use or are you press or what? If you're not taking pics for a living or for art purposes then it's just a matter of what features you want in the camera.. any quality difference will be negligible between the two, and it will mostly depend on the film and lens anyway.

I just bought a Minolta STsi which has a max of 1 fps. Not bad for what I use it for. It sounds like if you're gonna be doing fast action stills, a camera with >= 1/2000 shutter speed and more than 1 or 2 fps is what you want. Make sure you get a good set of lenses too. Minolta is not bad for a body along with Canon and Nikon.
